New Adds
I'm adding additional songs to the playlist. Live365 has increased storage space for sites so that allows me to add music without having to add/replace. Listen for "Holding On To You" from Servant, "I'm Born Again" by Glenn Garrett, Steve Taylor's "Hero" and additional songs from the Imperials, Petra, BJ Thomas, Kim Boyce, Amy Grant, Degarmo and Key and Mylon and Broken Heart. All good stuff! Time To Get Back At It
It's been a while since I've written here or updated some of the music. I'll be uploading some different songs from artists we play now and adding some new artists to the lineup. I would have thought that after two years of doing this some of the music would be easier to find on iTunes or Amazon. Amazingly, that is not the case. I've found a few artists online that I'm missing - but not many. My best luck has been in searching for old LPs on line and converting them to digital. Thanks for listening! I was surprised to see today that the station is the #1 Classic Christian station on Live365!

"New" Music On The Way
It's been a while since I've done anything more than just rearrange some of the music on the station. My busy year is winding down and I'll have the time to add some "new" Classic Christian Hits to the station. I have some additional CD's and album cuts I need to upload including different songs from The Imperials, Amy Grant, Chris Christian, Connie Scott and others.
I've recently been listening to the station in my car on the beta iPhone Live365 application. It will be nice when it's released but even in beta form it's great.

Larry Black Show and "new" Music
In High School I would wake up real early on Sunday and listen to a radio program, "The Larry Black Show". It was my only exposure to CCM and it aired on our local station at around 5am. Some of the songs Larry Black played are my earliest memories of contemporary Christian Music. I found a few of them this past week - Randy Matthews, "Which Side Are You On" and Mark Heard, "One of The Dominoes". I've also added music from Phillip Sandifer, Chris Christian, Margaret Becker, Randy Stonehill, and Michael W. Smith ("Place In This World" for the graduates).

Paul Davis and other adds
Remember Paul Davis? He had a few hits on mainstream AC stations in the 70's and 80's (Sweet Life, I Go Crazy). He released a song in 1980, "Do Right". It was picked up by Christian radio and was a top 10 hit of that year. I hadn't heard it in years and found it while surfing the new Amazon MP3 store.
This past week I also added some Steven Curtis Chapman, First Call, Imperials, Amy Grant, 2nd Chapter of Acts, and Steve Camp.
